As a European Directive, INSPIRE (the Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe) raises a series of political, organisational and technological challenges. This training programme has been devised in a modular format to help address the different aspects of INSPIRE and outline how your organisation can actually benefit from working on INSPIRE.
The training caters for different job roles in stakeholder organisations, such as Legally Mandated Organisations (LMOs) and Spatial Data Interest Communities (SDICs).

We are proud to announce that this course is accredited by the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) and contributes towards achieving Chartered Geographer status. Delegates who attend this two day training course are eligible to receive seven CPD points towards their Continual Professional Development.
The scheme is open to all members of the AGI who wish to work towards securing or retaining Chartered Geographer (GIS) status. Please visit the AGI website or the Royal Geographical Society website for more information about the Chartered Geographer scheme.
